Games and Sports are integral part of learning process. Keeping in mind the aim of mass participation our physical education department is moving ahead and bringing laurels to the school.
Judo:- Under 14 two girls , Under 17 three girls and under 19 two girls from the classes VII, VIII, IX and XI secured first position in District Level Competition and qualified for State Level Competition which will be held in the month of October.
Kho Kho:- Under-19 Kho Kho girls got First position in district level competition and the entire team of 12 girls selected for State Level competition which will be held in the month of October.
Athletics:- One girl of class V secured first position in Long Jump, one girl of Class IX got Second position in 100 mt. Race, One girl of class IX got Second Position in Long Jump, one boy of class IX got second position in Long Jump and Akshit Sharma of class X D got second Position in Triple Jump at District Level Competition. All the participants qualified for State Level Competition which will be held in the month of October.
Baseball:- Under 17, 4 boys from the baseball team of the school selected for State level competition in District Level trials.
Under 17, 6 students represented Faridabad District in Rohtak for State Level Federation Cup and got Third position in Haryana. Under 17, Amritanshu of class XII represented the baseball Team of Faridabad and the team achieved first place in Haryana State.
Hockey Championship at District level:-
Under 14 Boys Hockey Team of the school secured First position in the Tournament at district level competition. Six boys of team were qualified and selected for State Level tournament.
Under-17 Boys Hockey team of the school secured First position in the Tournament at district Level competition. Sixteen Students were qualified for State level Tournament.
Under 17 girls Hockey team of the school secured first position in the Tournament at District level Competition. Ten girls were selected and qualified for State Level tournament.
Haryana State council for child welfare organized Patriotic group singing competition at district Level at Bal Bhawan, Faridabad. 19 Schools participated in this competition and our school got second position and selected for state level competition which was organized on 26th October. The winners from our school received General Knowledge Book as well as the certificates from the dignitaries.
Doha Chaupai Competition was organized at varied level in APJ Swarn Global Public School on 26th October 2017. Two students bagged first position at district level and had been awarded with trophy. Two students had been honoured with trophy for securing first position at Zonal level. One students of class XII received Gold Medal for achieving first position at Inter School Level.
Rajasthani Folk Dance Competition was organized on 7th October’2017. The dance group of the school achieved second position along with the cash prize of Rs. 7500/- school Trophy, Medal and Certificates.
International Ethnic Folklore Festival was organized on 13th Oct’2017. The performers were awarded with Director’s choice Award for their stupendous dance performance. The group was awarded with 15,000/- cash prize, school Trophy and certificates.
The dance competition was organized in Bal Bhawan at District Level on 17th Oct’2017, Faridabad. The performers secured First Position and selected to perform at zonal level. Zonal Level Competition was organised in Gurugram where in the group was awarded with First Prize and selected for State Level Competition. State Level Competition was organized in Kaithal and the performers were awarded with second position. The group was invited to Chandigarh to receive award from the Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki on the occasion of Children’s Day. They were also requested to perform in the Governor’s house and they did so.
Art & Craft
Central Ground Water Board, Govt. of India, organized the painting competition of State level at Panchkula in 2017. One student of class VI and one student of class VII were awarded with consolation Prize with Rs. 1000 cash prize for their creative talent of the perfect combination of variety of colours.
In the award ceremony organised by The Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) at India Habitat Centre wherein one student of class IV achieved first position and awarded with a certificate with his painting printed at the back of it.
Bureau of Energy Efficiency Bhakhra Beas Management Board organized State level Painting Competition on 14 November 2017 at Panchkula. One student of class VI under Junior Group achieved first position and honoured with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000. One student of class IX got consolation prize under Senior Group and received Rs. 5000 cash prize. Two students received participation award along with the cash prize of Rs. 2000.
National Level Painting Competition was organized at Noida. One student of class VI received consolation prize as well as the cash of Rs. 10,000.
